RHINEBECK, N.Y. -- Gladys A. Bjorklund, of Rhinebeck, died Wednesday, Nov. 16. She was 91.
She was a lifelong member of the Hyde Park Reformed Church, where she expressed her talents as an artist making chalk talks to Sunday School classes and playing the organ for services. She also was a life member with her husband John Bjorkland of the Poughkeepsie Yacht Club.
She is survived by her children, Lynda and Frank Calabrese, Kenneth Douglas and Billy Douglas; and many grandchildren.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In recognition of the care she received at the Baptist Home, the family requests memorial donation to the Baptist Home or to the Dutchess County SPCA.
